Unless expressly agreed in writing the following Terms and Conditions will
apply to all work undertaken.
- Logo
All sites designed or redesigned may contain a logo or text linking back to my
own web site. A Discount for this link has been included in all prices quoted
or shown on the web site. If this link is not required, or is deleted then I
reserve the right to make additional charges.
- Orders
A simple e-mail with clear instructions to proceed will be deemed to be an
order. I will specifically check prior to making any commitment to purchase
Domain Names or Web Space that this is in line with your requirements.
- Information for Publication.
All information for inclusion on a web site should preferable by sent by
e-mail as this makes it much easier to transfer to the site. Simple text
without formatting is all that is required with any pictures or artwork being
sent as attachments. All text and artwork will be reformatted in line with the
overall scheme for the web site being developed. Pictures and artwork may be
resized / reformatted to ensure optimum performance of the web site. If large
quantities of Information are provided as hard copy then the right is reserved
to make additional charges for typesetting.
- Cancellation
Any agreement to design a Web Site and provide Web Hosting space / Domain
Names can be cancelled by either party by providing 1 month written notice to
the other party. In such cases the Web space and Domain name would remain to
property of the Client, and the web site would remain on line until the
renewal date of the respective facilities. Transfer to others would be
arranged free of charge.
In the event of cancellation of an order by the Client, after work has
commenced then the client will be liable for the costs of such work and of any
purchases made on behalf of the client.
- Intellectual Rights / Trademarks
The Client must unconditionally guarantee that any text, graphics,
photographs, designs, logos, trademarks or any other items supplied for
publication on the web site are owned by the client or the client has
permission to use them in this way. The client will indemnify me from any
claim or legal action arising from the use of such items supplied by the
client.
- Payment
Payment for the initial design / set-up fee is required before any work can
commence, Payment for ongoing maintenance will be invoiced yearly basis
commencing on completion of all design work and must be paid within 30 days.
Failure to make such payments can be grounds for cancellation when clause 2
above would apply.

All prices and offers on our web site are subject to confirmation.
- Client Review
It is the Clients responsibility to review the content of the web site on a
regular basis and to report any errors or omissions so that they can be
corrected.
- Timescales
I will work with the Client to complete the Web Site or any subsequent
modifications within a reasonable timescale and wherever possible in line with
clients requirements. Any timescales quoted are estimates, No responsibility
can be taken for late completion.
- Web Hosting and Domain Names
All Hosting services and Domain name fees are paid to third parties and are for a minimum period of 12 months. Renewal will
be carried out each year unless cancellation has been received at least 1
month prior to the renewal date.
- Web Visitor Statistics
Full statistical information is available in graphical form, access for this
is via a Control Panel protected by usernames and passwords. Such passwords
will be made available on the basis that they are used by one person only to
access these statistics on assurance that no changes will be made to the web
site. Any such changes could jeopardise the smooth running of the site and may
require remedial action which would be chargeable. It is the clients
responsibility to keep any such passwords and usernames confidential.
- Inappropriate Material
We believe in freedom of speech and expression but reserve the right to reject
any material considered offensive or questionable. This would include, but not
be limited to the following
Any matter advocating illegal
activities
Radical or Racial material
Material with pornographic or sexual
content
Material slandering another person,
organisation, cultural, religious or ethnic group.
Any material considered to be of a
questionable nature.
- Disclaimer
I shall not be responsible for any damages your business may suffer and make
no warranty of any kind, expressed or implied for the services provided.
